Ch. Butternut, turn right off Hwy 366 after the Edelweiss Ski Resort and up the next hill. Newly installed in 2008, residential area, forest backdrop, climbing structures, slides, swings for all ages, sand covered, picnic table, shady in the morning, full sun in the afternoon.

Farm Point Community Playground
Behind Farm Point Community Centre/Peggy Brewin Co-op Pre-school building, 331 ch. de la Rivière. Climbing structure, slides, swings, tunnel especially suited to toddlers & preschoolers. Sand and grass, full sun all day.

Rupert Community Centre Playground
Beautiful view, swings, slides, climbers and sand - handy to combine with a visit to the Rupert Library & Second-hand Store in same location.

Wakefield Playground at the Bridge
Turn left off Hwy 366 right after crossing the bridge past the police station. Fenced in, large lawn with climbing structure, swings and slides for slightly older children (or younger too with good parental spotting!), sand and grass, paved area at other end for bikes and basketball hoop. Covered picnic table, full sun all day.

Wakefield Playground at the Rec Centre
Off Valley Drive, near Chez Eric. Newly installed in 2008, swings, large slide, tunnel, climbing structure, soccer field behind and skateboarding area. Grass and sand, picnic table, full sun all day.

Wakefield Elementary School Playground
Beautiful spacious playground to enjoy after school hours. Behind Wakefield Elementary School, 20 ch. Caves. Turn onto ch. Burnside (near the General Store), then left up the hill on ch. Caves. Climbing wall, climbers, swings, slides, seesaws - something for all ages. Sand and grass, full sun all day.
